Fused Ceramic ShieldTM
A tough, thick durable coat of blue cobalt at
ceramic is fused to the tank's interior surfaces
at 1600oF, forming a corrosion-resistant
lining for years of dependable protection and
use.

Patented Delimer Dip Tube
Carries cold inlet water deep into the tank to
minimize temperature dilution of hot water. Minimizes
sediment and lime build-up that lead to tank failure.
Not shipped on 75 gallon model.

Non-CFC Foam Insulation
The tank is surrounded by a thick coat of non-CFC
polyurethane foam to trap heat inside the tank,
saving energy.

Code Approvals
AGA certified, CEC and 1990 NAECA approved. All
models are certified at 300 PSI test pressure
and 150 PSI working pressure.

Brass Drain Valve
When top T&P is ordered, the anode is moved
to the rear location and te front anode location
is used for the field-installed T&P valve.
Delete "V" in model number for top T&P
option, T&P opening on top of the heater with
the valve shipped in the box for field installation.
For propane, substitute "P" for "N"
in model numbers. Dimensions and specifications

are on 8" centers on 40- and 50-gallon models
and 11" centers on the 75-gallon models. All
models have 3/4" top water connections except
75T75 which has 1" top water connections. 3/4"

on 75-gallon model.
SPECIFICATION
Residential gas water heater(s) shall be model ________________
as manufactured by American Water Heater Company,
or an approved equal, and shall have a ________________-year
tank warranty and a ________________-year parts
warranty, when installed in a residential application.
When installed in a commercial application, the
unit will have a 1-year tank warranty and a 1-year
parts warranty. Heater(s) shall have a storage capacity
of ______ gallons and shall have a rated input of
______ BTU's, and shall be design certified, tested
and listed in accordance with American Gas Association
Standards and ANSI Z21 10. Heaters shall meet or
exceed the requirements of the Federal "National
Appliance Energy Conservation Act of 1987."
The interior of the storage tank shall be lined
with a Fused Ceramic ShieldTM lining,
fused to the tank at 1600oF, forming
a corrosion-resistant lining; polymer linings are
not acceptable. Each tank shall be funished with
an internal anode for anodic protection. The unit
must be equipped with a combination gas control
thermostat and non-reset type ECO. A corrosion-resistant
drain valve shall be provided on the front of each
unit. The tank shall be totally encased in a steel
jacket painted and insulated with a non-CFC foam
to reduce stand-by heat loss. The tank must be design
certified for 300 PSI test pressure and 150 working
pressure. The unit must be equipped with a piezo
electric igniter for lighting the pilot without
matches. |
